What to Wear and Things to Do for Valentines Day in New York City

Whether your going out with your friends, that special someone, or staying in for a self care night these are all forms of celebrating love this Valentines Day. I thought I would start off by sharing this Night Out Look because you can never go wrong wearing all black, its sleek and easy to throw on. A way to treat yourself this Valentines Day is by wearing or purchasing something your comfortable in and nothing is more comfortable to me than pants to wear for a night out. For warmth I wore a turtleneck with faux leather pants, paired with tan suede boots (similar here) and (here) and a white blazer (similar here) to elevate the look. Whether you’re going to dinner & a movie or hanging out with friends this look is perfect for V- Day.

Who doesn't love Brunch

For a casual get together with friends, to have brunch with the girls or a lunch date to celebrate the holiday, jeans is my go-to. This look is definitely laid back and a smart investment to make as you’ll always wear jeans again, if not throw on your favorite pair & head out to celebrate! For this light wash denim, blue on blue look I put on my favorite jeans from Zara, with a white blouse underneath (similar here) (here) along with my blue blazer (similar here) (here) to go over it. Lastly I added my quilted heel mules from Zara to add a chic touch! P.S. Zara is having a huge sale so if you want to buy a little something for the holiday head there before the sale ends!

Places to go & Things to do

The Rose Wine Mansion is an all inclusive experience with Insta worthy photo ops, a wine tasting bar and the science behind making Rosé. What they have in store from the 14th to the 16th is “Pink Weekend”  and “Valentines Day Soiree” for $35-$45 a person. This is perfect for a girls night out and they have packages for special occasions.

Nomo in Soho

Nomo in Soho is a great place for brunch with the girls, date night, or just having dinner with friends. American cuisine with Mediterranean influences and an ever changing menu. There is always something new to try at Nomo!

A Night In

For a night in with that special someone or friends their are a variety of sweets and savory foods everyone can share, also who doesn’t want heart-shaped foods as a gift? Instead of your classic box of chocolates you can grab a dozen doughnuts from Krispy Kreme, a heart shaped cookie cake from Insomina or a six pack of cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon. Not into sweets? Pick up Chick Fil-A or Papa Johns for you to share, check to see if a location near you is participating!
